"Dreadful" is very harsh on Jean-Ricner, IMO. He hasn't been what I hoped he would be but I still say we've positioned him much too wide to maximize his strengths. That's continued this season, per his heatmap.

Regardless, @Lycan's take is basically why I think it's better if he goes.

I think it's difficult to judge most of our players this season, for example we absolutely know that Joao and Andre are good players, but they've been over 7/10 in less than half of our games this season.

I haven't watched a lot of Boro or Coventry, but how many of Ipswich's would? Davis maybe over Ward, O'Shea over Butler, Berra or Bennett possibly. There are a couple I don't know. I think as PL squads have become deeper the Championship has become weaker.

Whilst acknowledging his weaknesses and limitations. I think he's been our most consistent performer (in a positive sense) this season. His book value is less than £4m, I don't think he'll be short of options abroad if he wants out.
