FA Cup - Wolves 1-3 Liverpool - Verdict thread.

2 seasons of that have been written off now though.

Only 2 seasons, feels like he's been here forever. Dreadful footballer.
You'll be pleased to know it's 3 then, 2 left.

3 at the end of this one, yeah.

I can see him going to a promoted team or back to France.

My barometer is whether these players would get in any of our promoted teams in 2003, 2009 or 2018.

Bellegarde would IMO not get in any of them, at absolute best you could argue he is better than Shaun Newton was.

"Dreadful" is very harsh on Jean-Ricner, IMO. He hasn't been what I hoped he would be but I still say we've positioned him much too wide to maximize his strengths. That's continued this season, per his heatmap.

Regardless, @Lycan's take is basically why I think it's better if he goes.

1 game in 10 or 15 he looks good. Most of the time, like last night, he just fills a shirt.

He's just such a nothing player. So many games where he just has no impact. We've got too many of those type of players and we need to work on getting rid of them.

His ratio is dropping with every post :ROFLMAO:

I think it's difficult to judge most of our players this season, for example we absolutely know that Joao and Andre are good players, but they've been over 7/10 in less than half of our games this season.

I haven't watched a lot of Boro or Coventry, but how many of Ipswich's would? Davis maybe over Ward, O'Shea over Butler, Berra or Bennett possibly. There are a couple I don't know. I think as PL squads have become deeper the Championship has become weaker.

Interesting take.

Judah & Spiers think we should be forming our squad around the likes of Bellegarde, Rodrigo, Hugo & Santi next season. Suggesting they are all “too good” for the Championship.
Hugo has already got his agent touting him around. No way he’s staying.

I’d be amazed if someone doesn’t pick up Santi and Rodrigo.

We might get to keep JRB.

This doesn’t surprise me. He’s been one of our most consistent performers this season.

We look like having a severe shortage of Buenos and Gomeses next season.

Looks like we’ll be left with Toti.

Who in their right mind is buying Santi Bueno?

Yes, I'll take one of your centre halves who can't run or jump, deal.

If you were to listen to every argument here , and believe it , then you'd be forgiven for thinking that we'll have no existing player on our books next season.
