I'm not even sure it's that. It's more a mindset.
Letting Hoever/ Semedo cut inside so Adama can cross and then having Neto and RAN do the same on the other side and switch at will will make a huge difference but you have to let the players go forward and not be afraid to pass/ run otherwise we end up with the current malaise.
We need an attacking Central midfielder to play with Neves, but mainly we need our central pair to be at least 5 years further forward and dictating play further up the pitch and looking forward first rather than safe and tedious at a snails pace.
We can do it, we just need to do it more often and from the start in each half.
