On the recent subject of not giving stick to returning ex-players. I think I'd be booed out by the end of this game.
Mayyyyybe.I still think Robinson knew what he was doing. Proper chucked his dick at Sylvan's ankle and sat down on top of it.
Dirty tackle in my book.
So very soon it is 10 years since he played for us.
Time really does fly.
I’ve always thought it was strange how that end his career.Former Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake suing surgeon after 'unnecessary' surgery that ended career
Former Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is suing a surgeon for millions of pounds claiming his top flight career was ended by an operation he didn’t need.www.expressandstar.com
SEB going after his surgeon.
When he played in Craddock's testimonial in 2014 (only about a year after he last played for us), he looked like a celebrity who'd turned up for a jolly, not a 28 year old pro footballer. Something clearly went very wrong somewhere, he shouldn't have had that kind of drop off. He still scored 15 for us in 2012/13 in an appalling team.
Very sad to hear he's struggling mentally.
We were 4 points shy of safety in the end.I’ve always thought it was strange how that end his career.
Relegated us too (I mean probably would have anyway but he would have hit 20+ goals and it could have saved us)
Yeah, greater good and all that.We were 4 points shy of safety in the end.
Our record after he got injured was P6 W1 D0 L5.
I think he'd have scored enough to keep us up (Brighton and Hull aside, the latter of which we somehow won anyway [!], they weren't very hard fixtures).
The terrifying thing is that we wouldn't have sacked Saunders, he'd have acted like we'd won the Champions League, and he'd have signed some absolute fucking mutants. I was at that point of not going to games anyway, until he fucked off then that was me done with giving the club money.
