Noticed Odoffin scored for Rotherham today, had no idea he was even there.

Atleti go 5-1 up and decide it’s safe enough to bring Doherty on at last. A ver…
Weird! Looked him up about 10 minutes ago and saw that he was yet to appear for them

He’s now marking Rafa Mir, in an actual match, a real one, in La Liga. It’s a state of affairs that can only be plausibly explained as having been orchestrated by Javier Tebas as decisive evidence that La Liga is at the wrong end of Premier League financial doping.

Not sure he’s ever properly marked anyone in his life.

In a league where Willian Jose scores goals...

Let’s not get too lazy about slagging off La Liga Alan, you’ll be up on Talksport GB News next.

I'd be an MLS reporter to the uncaring British masses in a heartbeat.

Newcastle heavily linked with making a move for Jota in the Summer.

Liverpool fans seem happy about that. Seen comments such as "thanks for the tap ins but its time to go"

They have Gakpo, Nunez and Diaz all competing with him. Personally think he's better than Nunez and Gakpo but what do I know?

Jota and Jimenez were both so much better when played in a '2' or closer together. Neither suits the way we sometimes employed a front three when there was 40 yards between the CF and the wide player on either side. As we we playing a '3' at the time, I thought letting him go for the money we thought it was for at the time was the right move. If we played him in a two or a narrow three I'd have him back instantly.
I'm not surprised if Liverpool are open to offers. His injury record there is terrible and like in his time with us this makes his form patchy. A bench player at best for them although with Salah just past his maximum value, it's probably him that they should be cashing in on first as his stock could decline quite quickly

I'd have Nunez here before Jota.
I can see why, I think Nunez has the potential to become much better, I think Jota may have reached his ceiling. But right now Jota for me is a far better player.

I didn't want him to go.

We got sucked in by the Adama hype train after his three month purple patch, if there was genuine interest in him at around the same price point then it's not even a debate which one we should have sold.

Jota is still only 26.

Jota, Sarabia, Raul/ Sasa/ Silva would be a very tasty front 3. Particularly if we went balls out and put Cunha in behind them.

Jota could be frustrating as hell (for me), but I don't think there's any doubt now that a fit, firing Diogo would completely transform us as an attacking threat.

Throw a fit Neto into the mix.

I don't think Jota would come back, not without European football. Nice to dream though.
