I was highly critical of his (Nunes) performances for the season that he was with us, admittedly not on this message board so you'll have to take my word for it!

For the fee we paid and the high profile I expected a lot more.

Each time I criticised him I was told that it was because he was being played out of position. When he was in the "right" role and I still criticised him I was told that it takes a year to settle in to the Premier League when moving here...

Reality is that he just isn't very good...

I'm just grateful City came in for him and we managed to make some money off of him!!

Not sure why anyone ever got excited about him - lanky version of Guedioura without the tackling or mental shooting.

I thought he was an exciting signing, based on reputation more than anything I'd really seen and that Guedes was the Mendes favour to get him.

He did have some good moments, but he also dropped us in the shit so many times too with poor ball retention.

His attitude overall was fucking awful too.

There was always talent there, but he likely believed Peps prior "best midfielder" comment, and attitude/application didn't match or exceed the ability.
He's not a fucking right back tho.
