They're just annoyed that they didnt get away with their cheating, especially as the ref until that point was playing by two sets of rules: if their player goes down give a foul, if our player goes down wave play on.

Both teams were tired from playing so much over the holidays, and it showed. Mane in particular must have been exhausted but to his credit he actually got better as the game went on.
Both red cards were totally warranted, but unfortunately it actually made it more difficult for us to find a winner. 11 v 11 with both sides looking to score and gaps appear. 11 v 9 and the 9 just defend in their own area making it harder to break them down.
The game showed that we still "belong" in the Premier League, shame it's too late.

As for comms sky really need to review who they put in the co comms seat for games ie stop putting people who will have a complete natural bias. Osman sounded like he was at a funeral when equalised.

Hard fought point away to a horrible side full of gnarly, cynical old cunts in the image of their gaffer. They should have been out of sight by half time but we were much better second half and could have/should have won, if only Hugo had scored at the end, brilliant save by Prickford mind.

Another superb goal from Mane, what a player we have on our hands and would be great to keep him into next season but he talks of the Premier League a lot.

Ref gave us nowt for most of it. The yellow for Sa over the free kick/goal kick confusion and the yellow for Mosquera whilst that ape Tarkowski got away with everything. Then came the rightful straight red for Keane and the hilarious sending off of Greasy, one of the funniest sendings off I've seen!

5 points from 3 games feels massive after what we experienced prior. We have no chance of staying up but if Rob Edwards can get a tune and some fight out of this lot and a few more points going forwards then that is all we can ask for.

Yeah, Everton are a horrible football team. One creative player, dirty, cynical, play for set pieces, in the refs face. Like 80s Wimbledon but with a 50k stadium.

3rd League game in a row where we have taken points . Any other season you'd be happy with that run , but right now it's 3 points we need .
However it's further proof that this run is a trend , we're a lot more resilient and are showing far more spirit .
Lima got a separate mention by Edwards in the press conference - will he start on Saturday one wonders ? It's a weak area for sure .
Rest Mane and a few others on Saturday and go again against Newcastle - who conceded 3 last night .
Credit where it's due - we might have a poor squad , but Edwards has clearly shown that with the right organisation we can get results .
First half was disappointing , but Everton were probably always going to get a goal from somewhere . Concern for me was that if Mane had not scored - where was a goal going to come from .
We got three on Saturday by being offensive early on - we have to go for every game now . Nothing to lose .

How come they announce 9 minutes extra time when the game has been stopped. The restart was over 30 seconds later plus a substitution and time wasting all of which was not taken into account

Yep the time keeping is the consistent bug bear of mine as it’s so easy to get right whereas I admit to other aspects of refereeing can be challenging.

If it had been at Molineux there is no way he blows when he does. There seems no rule on “time wasting”, taking 45 seconds on a goal kick just seems accepted, fine. But there are rules for subs, injuries, cards, VAR checks. Pickford lay on the floor for a minute pretending he’d hurt his shoulder and then wasted a further minute restarting the game. Then there was the subs and the fact the game wasn’t restarted after the red and further “injuries”.

Refs clearly can’t control it themselves so it needs to be independent.

Its not a bad idea but wont happen as you say. Cant see why we dont have an independant timekeeper though who'd be away from the action so not swayed by the crowd.

Tchatchoua, Hoever, Doherty, Gomes, Lima. How much was spent there.

Probably as bad as buying Arias and Fer Lopes to replace Cunha whilst having Mane right there.

I think Mane has been the spark that has reignited some of our better players self-belief. A lot more fight and spirit shown these last few games. Sadly, the dross in the side is still dragging our better players down to their level, to an extent.

That referee is way out of his depth in the Premiership.
