Ah...ahem....ahem......you mean a British / Irish bid of course..........
The British Isles are a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean off the north-western coast of continental Europe, consisting of the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Inner and Outer Hebrides, the Northern Isles (Orkney and Shetland), and over six thousand smaller islands.[8] They have a total area of 315,159 km2 (121,684 sq mi)[5] and a combined population of almost 72 million, and include two sovereign states, the Republic of Ireland (which covers roughly five-sixths of Ireland),[9] and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Channel Islands, off the north coast of France, are normally taken to be part of the British Isles,[10] even though they do not form part of the archipelago.[11]

Any particular reason why? I think a British Isles bid is really great and has worked before in the Rugby World Cup.
Its personal preference England could host it alone and gives the tournament a clear identity as does the fact of having it in just Rep Ireland, N Ireland, Wales & Scotland.
Wembley had 8 games at the last euros so seems a bit familiar.

Thanks to GAA we have 7 stadiums over 30k (including Casement), thought all except Aviva have element of terracing at the minute.
Plus another couple just short of 30k at the moment.
Was the backbone of our failed bid in 2015 for this world cup. (Which included Casement in their bid)

Still no guarantee on Casement, DUP fully backing the bid but not happy that public money being used to pay for it.
Unsurprisingly Casement is a no-go so there won't be any games in Norn Iron. No chance of getting Windsor Park up to the required capacity and standard.

Murrayfield seems the ideal replacement

As a rugby venue, is the pitch wide enough for UEFA tournament requirements, as the stands aren't as far away as Twickenham? Also, Murrayfield has the same issues with concerts as Wembley, but four years out that isn't a big deal.

However, the other problem is Murrayfield is in a fairly nice part of Edinburgh that may be less keen on football crowds than rugby or concert crowds.

It is a cracking stadium though.

Was never realistically a goer due to ;
Cost (UEfa specifications make it expensive)
Planning objections & restrictions
Becoming a political football
Good old bigotry & sectarianism.

Just wasted money on a token effort.

No chance with Windsor Park either not enough space to expand even if the political will was there (& it's not, you block ours, we will block yours game).

Of course 20 years ago a proposal was put forward for an all purpose 35,000 seater stadium just outside Belfast as all of the stadiums Windsor, Casement & Ravenhill were getting dilapidated, and could be cost neutral if the existing sites were sold for development. The sporting bodies IFA, GAA & Ulster Rugby all agreed as did British government & Irish Government promised to contribute.

You would think everyone would be happy but step forward the DUP, as the new site was on the site of the old Maze prison (site was actually picked as symbolic of a new Unified Northern Ireland), they couldn't support something that was a shrine to terrorism (1 of the old H blocks was to be kept for historical reasons). An excuse as they didn't want to contribute to something that would benefit Catholics.

So since then £60m spent upgrading Windsor & Ravenhill, & Casement derelict, and now missed opportunity for prestige and badly needed economic boost for the area.
