Euro 2020

Another 3-0, another good performance, 2 great goals for Locatelli. Loving Mancini's Azzurri
Another good performance, Italy definitely have to be taken seriously as contenders I reckon.

Long way to go yet .

Italy's problem is that they might have hit their ceiling and all the top sides will now have seen them at their best over close . France look too laid back for me , it's not a switch that you can just turn on when it suits .
Belgium got it done early the last night - they impressed me , quite balanced .
Germany have no striker - hard to believe . Bringing back Mueller says it all .
Portugal simply cannot be discounted even though they struggle to score several times , but concede little .
England - if Kane hits form they'll go deep into the tournament . Mings is bound to give up a penalty sooner rather than later and Maguire simply can't be match fit . Don't see them winning it .

Tomorrow's England line up?

What I think Southgate will go with...

--------------Pickford--------------------

Walker---Stones----Maguire---Chilwell

------------Phillips-----Rice-------------

------------------Mount-----------------

Foden-------------Kane------------Sterling

What I'd like...

--------------Pickford--------------------

Walker---Stones----Maguire---Chilwell

------------Bellingham-----Rice-------------

Foden-------------Mount--------Grealish--

--------------------Kane---------------------

Bold move dropping the best 2 players from the last game.

Phillips and Trippier?

I'd still say that Sterling wasn't great. Caused the opposition problems with his running but fecked up on a number of occasions. If the keeper had stood still his shot for the the goal would have hit him.

Not sure he'll throw Maguire in. He'll want to do that in a less tense situation I think where he could then take him off when needed against the Czechs if we are already through.

Think he might play Shaw to give balance against a team more likely to sit off, but he may just stick with Trippier who did alright against Croatia

Just popped home for lunch and stuck ITV on to see a fantastic interview with Kalvin Phillips. Came across brilliantly - spoke well and very humble.

Absolutely zero chance he gets dropped after his performance v Croatia.

Nor should he. He was excellent.

I had no idea he was capable of playing further forward, thought he’d look completely lost if not holding hands with the centre backs but I was impressed.

Yarmolenko again.

Keeps doing it!

Pitiful defending from North Macedonia.

Bit of a generous pen (never going to be overturned though), then an awful take and the rebound falls straight back to him.

Couple of bits of luck for North Macedonia but back in it.
