Way more exciting and atmospheric though. There's too many games in the champions league which means European nights are no longer special.

I think International football will always have its place especially major Tournaments as people generally enjoy 4 weeks of summer football.
It’s just very dreary trawling through qualifiers in the autumn and spring.

Awful German side completely lacking in any identity, they are so toothless in attack and slack in defence too. If Portugal play to their capabilities they will wallop Germany

Think this is the worst German side as far as quality on the ball I've seen....France cruise to a win at about 60%

Euro 2000 was way worse, they were truly shocking. Probably the worst since then though.

He's a prat, always has been. I remember when he was messing around over a contract at West Ham, finally signed one and then we played them at home a few days later. I expended more effort getting into the North Bank Upper than he did in his time on the pitch, a disgrace.
