Euro 2020

Tv won’t show a fan or a streaker running on the pitch yet can allow a zoom in on a serious life threatening event. Someone’s priorities are all to cock.
Fingers crossed for positive news

I actually listened to a podcast on BBC Sounds with Muamba last week, he said on his heart attack that it was so much better that he had it where he did because there were two club doctors, a doctor in the crowd and paramedics all on site so his care started within seconds. Had it happened at home then its at least minutes until an Ambulance gets to him and he likely doesn't survive.

I dont want to speculate what is wrong with Eriksen but at least he has those professionals there and able to jump straight in. In these situations seconds make are the difference between life and death.

Reports he’s left the stadium in a stable condition, thank god

UEFA official statement. “Following the medical emergency for Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET. The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised”.

Probably one of the best places to have such a thing happen outside of a hospital

Great news. Bloody brilliant medics because they had to use a defibrillator, so obviously his heart had stopped.
I think they use defibrillators when the hearts rhythm goes a bit wonky and also when it's stopped.

Thank God that what they did worked

Game resuming at 8.30. Edit 7 30, as that's CET given.
Was really not expecting that. The players must be traumatised, can't belive they'll be able to be in the right mind set to play

They would have been asked. No way they just got told its happening. Denmark would have just conceded the game if they were forced in to it.
