Definitely got away with one, could see them scraping out of the group though with 3 points as one of the four best 3rd place teams. Especially as they play Italy last who'll likely have qualified by then.

I'm not watching the Switzerland game but I did see him live at da Luz playing for Benfica and he scored a couple and looked really good. This was 2 years ago though so I am definitely out of touch with his current form

Only half-watched the first half but thought Wales were way too passive for most of that game. Counter-attack was the aim but they couldn't do so effectively and played into Swiss hands with the amount of corners they gave away - always looked vulnerable from them. Lucky the Swiss couldn't finish better too. They had a dominant spell around the equaliser but had faded by the end again. Decent point overall. All about whether they can perform against Turkey now.

His hold up play was good in particular 1st hour. Linked the pñay well, finishing was not great

We were shite. Got a point. Qualification isn’t blown. Best I can say about it really.

Ward was fantastic but far too many of the others were way off.

Really, I didn't think he was anything special, lot of work and looked solid but but was more competent than anything. I thought the save Sommer made first half was excellent.
