Euro 2016 watch

Wouldn't take Sturridge - not sure he's done enough when he has played & is an injury risk in any event

There are enough other options to not need to take the risk

The Ox is unlikely to be fit.

Walcott did more than Sturridge against the Dutch but that is not enough. I would leave them all at home too.

Anyway chaps this man isn't for turning [emoji106]

Anyone else think Sturridge, Walcott and Ox are in trouble?

Said the same to pals at work.

I think

Ox may go to give us width

personally Saturday

Walcott
Sturridge
Milner played themselves off the plane, would take none of them

Walcott or Ox will go if Sturridge gets bombed out.

then it has to be Walcott of that three, but personally I would take Kane, Vardy Rooney and Wellbeck and leave the rest at home. I would rather overdo the midfield than the forwards.

Agree with you regarding Sturridge - he doesn't deserve the call up, and isn't as good as he thinks he is either.
Regarding the line up I agree generally. I think we've 2 awkward positions to nail down - left back (Gibbs has to be pissed he booked a holiday at such a silly time eh?) and the other midfield berth.

I'd be against taking Wilshere, great player, but too much injury time in the past 18 months. Won't have the match sharpness.

Extra players I'd be taking would be:
GK - Forster, Heaton
Def Walker, Rose, Bertrand, Cahill
Mid Lallana, Drinkwater, Henderson, Milner
Str Rooney, Walcott

If Sturridge is fit I am sure he'll go. I do agree though that he hasn't ever impressed me for England

I'd take walcott, his pace in international football can make a difference.

I can only think of one really good game Walcott has had for England, I can't see him making any kind of difference in the tournament. If we want speed we've got Sterling, Welbeck, Vardy who actually contribute and if we want a finisher we've got strikers in far better form than he is.

Theo did well when he came on against Sweden in Euro 2012 tbf. That and the Croatia game in 2008.

I guess its between walcott and sturridge..i think i would choose sturridge, he has a much higher highest level..but he needs a sir alex hairdrier tbh

Sturridge has been piss poor again today.

Henderson in danger of not being fit for the Euros after picking up an injury last night vs Dortmund

Shame for the lad,
But not a player id want is to take as I think he's bang average.
Hope that doesn't come across the wrong way

I agree too be honest Stu.

Wouldn't wish an injury on any player but I don't think it creates too many problems for us. He hasn't being playing well this season.

We're not particularly well stocked on midfielders though.

I don't want to be taking Shelvey for example!

We can always shift Milner into the middle. Quite similar players.
