It's far too easy for Germany. There's no presence alongside Fletcher in midfield. Mulgrew is there so that Strachan could shoehorn Whittaker in, pure and simple.

I think if Scotland had any other fit centre backs he'd be in his natural position at right back. Unfortunately the only other options atm are Berra and Gordon Greer.
