Derby (H) build up

I wont be going on the pitch, and I hope its not a repeat of the cringy Rotheram game, apart from that let the youngsters enjoy it like we (some of us) did when we were young. We may never be promoted again in a very long time :crossfingers:

Get the stewards to check for ID before letting them on you mean?

I'm fairly sure when I was growing up, pitch invasions were mainly for cup upsets. Not sure when they started to become the "norm".

Remember the pitch invasion against Burnley (?) when they smashed up the dugouts, that was a fun one.

Cunts.

I went on the pitch V QPR encouraged by my son.
I'd hardly call it invading though, the stewards basically opened the gate and asked us to proceed in an orderly fashion and we just sauntered on.
Fairly pointless exercise tbh.
I managed to get a few tufts of grass that had been turned up by one of the players boots, brought them home and have them growing in the back garden now.

Anyway, why are we all assuming we will beat Derby or Blues. Tad presumptuous that.

We've won 14 of our 20 home games, while nothing is a formality you would expect us to have a very good chance of beating anyone in this league at Molineux as we're miles better than them.

This is true. But as Nuno would say 'we av to remain 'umble'.

No, you're memory is just fine. We we're on the pitch in 88 and 87 as well. It was all good-natured despite the Police trying to stop it and the players enjoyed it every bit as much as muich as the fans. Of course that was possibly down to the fact they could climb into the Waterloo Road stand and celebrate with the fans from there which isn't possible now. Still, I don't quite understand the anger towards them as long as they are good natured.

aaah I thought so, I also remember my pal going through the window, and grabbing Bully round the neck, I knew that happened I have seen it loads. Still see him from time to time..... We all used to drink the the Working mens club just down the road next to the Hatherton, now Flats I believe

Definitely think last match of the season, it would be great for as many fans as possible to be on the Waterloo road when the players coach turns up so they can see the fans joy. Would be good if they could start on the ring road almost like a bus tour, which I doubt WMP will allow to go ahead.
There’s a thread on Mol Mix trying to arrange this.

Derby need to win more than we do. As long as we've got pace up front I'd back us to play counter attack.

Cav, Afobe and Costa up front for me

I'm sure it was the 4-2 against Hartlepool in 87 when the fans kept coming on the pitch, annoying as fuck.
Rotherham was just as annoying especially when they line up against the pitch side like a bunch of dads at the school sports day.
Onto the match, got a feeling this is going to be a 3-3,open attacking match from both sides.

I'm unexpectedly free tomorrow night now but no tickets left!

If anyone hears of a ticket available, drop me a PM please!

Speaking of longshots I have just backed Wolves to score 4 or more. I think the pressure is off now: I hope - and think - we will see some sensational football through to the end of the season
