The massive fences might have helped stopped it in 1989 tbf
and the fact it took about 3 hours to get from the John Ireland Stand to the pitch

Have to say I agree with most this, it's unfortunate it will happen V Blues, as I think there is likely to be an under currant to the game, without the fans facing off
I would hope the fans are more raisinable about it.

Man that ex player curse has really done us in this season
I've got no problem with our fans giving it large to the Bluenoses on Sunday.
My memory is not what it was, but I thought we clinched the title against Sheffield Utd, but we won promotion, and there was an invasion.
There was also the SVT when we qualified for Wembley, and we were all outside the old Waterloo Road stand and Turner etc were on the flat roof by the alley.
As I said it was my memory playing tricks....
N Still, I don't quite understand the anger towards them as long as they are good natured.
Pitch invasions aren't for me, but I don't really have an issue with ONE, it's when you do 3 or 4 as we have in the past that it all gets a bit pathetic. What I have no time for is invading while the match is still in play like some idiots did in the Rotherham game.
