Derby (A) 29/4/17 Build-Up & Match Thread

I say we should play him anyway. After all if his hamstring goes he's got all summer to get over it...

Still can't believe a Wolves manager actually said that.

Anyone who compares Lambert to Saunders (other than "this is at least recognisably a football manager, and this isn't") needs to have a serious word with themselves.

Given that we seem to be much better away from Molinuex, then I would not be surprised with a win, though I think a draw is the more likely outcome.

Looks like Edwards is captain so no Batth...

Hopefully means Hause is back in after being dropped for god knows why.

Hey,that's not as awful as I expected. Where has Gibbs-White gone though?

Burgoyne

Coady
Williamson
Hause
Saville

Edwards
Saiss
Evans

Marshall
Dicko
Cavaleiro

Subs: Ruddy, Silvio, Batth, Mason, Graham, Bright, Jon Dadi

In reality I expect Silvio to be dropped for unexplained reasons, Edwards to play despite offering as much as Lieutenant Dan out of Forrest Gump would in a hopscotch contest, Jigsaw Mason to play somewhere and Dicko to play up front even though he needs a pre-season, as per the manager.

Three out of four.

Cavaleiro up against Chris Baird - need to be making the most of that.

Just arrived, ill endeaver to provide updates if possible. With the exception of Edwards and MGW (if fit) reasonably happy with the team. Hoping for a Graham run out at some point. Meaningful of at least 30-45 mins.

We've decided against letting MGW go with England to the u17 Euros, a decision which I disagree with. Even more perplexing that he's not in the squad today. I hope bright and Graham get on.

Whoever the co-commentator, trying to work it out, just said Saville is right footed. Sigh.

it's Paul Butler!

Derby hit the bar after Saiss lost possession, then Burgoyne saved again.

Really sloppy from - i think Saiss - Derby are in and hit the bar.bounces down and away. Second shot that Burgoyne collects at the second time of asking.

Ince through but fluffs his lines. Living a charmed life defensively.

Marshall has swapped to the left to give Saville more support, struggling with Ince's movement behind him it seems. Cav to the right

1-0 that has been coming. Simple cross and nobody following nugent who nods in from close range.

And that is the problem with playing midfielders at full back... zero tracking and piss poor marking

What a surprise that Ince is running Saville ragged, piss poor really.
