Reading the Chesterfield forum, they say he got the job there after an after dinner speech. Nobody else was interviewed. Similar to him getting the Wolves job. How the hell does he keep managing it? His reputation is abysmal as is his record, he is renowned for relegating clubs yet he still gets jobs and Sky still use him as if he was some kind of footballing sage. No other League 1 waster would be used this way

You have my sympathies. I wouldn't wish Dean Saunders on any club. It's a tight race between his ineptitude and his monumental stupidity. I will never understand what possesses clubs to appoint him in any capacity, I wouldn't trust him to put the bins out.
