Dean Watch.

He may be considering having his players train on them as people seem to move quicker on that kind of surface

If you give me a helmet and a pugil stick, I'd say 'go on, I'll have a go'. When I got to the platform I'd realise I couldn't do it but you have to have self belief. That's not deluded like people who go on X Factor.

:icon_lol:

Some classics from Saunders tonight by the sounds of it.

From the Chesterfield forum:

My first game of the season and wow what a contrast in footballing styles from last season. I feel sorry for those of you that have to watch that garbage week in week out it's simply anti football.

Leaving aside the fact that the man is a halfwit, why don't clubs ever watch his teams play before they hand him yet another job? Why appoint someone who plays appalling football (for zero reward) wherever he goes, do they really think people want to pay good money to watch that tripe?

Yes DW, but remember Deano said after being given appointments where the teams were already in deep trouble before he took over, at Chesterfield he has a whole season to do things his way...

He's said tonight that it might need three years to fix things at Chesterfield, presumably forgetting he's on a two year contract. Lordy.

Fix what exactly? Didn't Cooky leave after they had finished in the top 6 hardly a club in turmoil.

Maybe he meant three years after he leaves to fix the mess he's made?

Their forum makes for very grim reading atm. Feel sorry for the poor buggers.

It's classic Deano; blame individual errors, over state your own chances and say the football and tactics were good therefore absolving himself any blame. There was even a late dig at the referee!
It's like listening to Redknapp again.

He really is priceless! Every club he goes to he wrecks, ruins the fans hopes then tries to take the glory when/if he manages to restore them to their previous level!

Its as though the bloke has a selective viewing phobia much like Glen Hoddle without understanding goals conceded and goals scored are part of a football managers responsibility.

This thread is constantly improving, he is just so deluded..
