Err, not to start the eternal debate again, but in no way was Traore rubbish. Yes he could have done better with his final ball at times, but he was by far and away our most potent attacking threat through the entire game.

Had nothing to do defensively so no blame on him there, his throws were decent too. That was exactly the type of game he should play in, if we'd have had an actual striker in the first half they'd have loved all balls he got in the box.

MGW had a decent game, finishing aside, particularly in the first half.

He does things other players don't see because nobody else does them, more the fault of his teammates than him. A couple of dummies not read by Jonny, a couple of give and goes beyond the defence when the ball wasn't returned. It's not that we didn't have a number 10 tonight it's that others don't know how to use one

And you answer your own question. If we had a striker like Jiminez they would have loved the balls, but we didn't and had Jota and MGW, so then Traore should play different balls into them. He was too one dimensional and very poor with his end product again...

If we cant make a striker out of him then that's that. We dont play with wingers and against better options which is most weeks in the Prem his defensive side will be shook to pieces.

Take a look outside this forum, read any match report. He's motm in all of them.

Do you not think he does what Nuno tells him? He stands on the wing as that's what he's told to do, he crossed balls in high, low, pulled them back and drove in himself. He was not the problem today.
