Cameron > May > JohnsonDon´t know, but could it be worse?
so, do you think he will stay and maybe be re-elected?Cameron > May > Johnson
So yes, it can always get worse.
Patel, Raab or Truss would be worse i think?
No chance, even an electorate as seemingly daft as ours can't elect him twice? Can they?so, do you think he will stay and maybe be re-elected?
I'm certain Patel would be worse, one of the positives in a way with Boris, was that because he was idle things would slip and he wouldn't do as much incompetent/bad shit as he could have done if he was more motivated.I don't think they would be actually, they're all terrible in their own way but they don't lie every single day and they aren't incredibly lazy. We also don't have a system where the Prime Minister can do anything they want, Johnson is testament to that with an 80 seat majority and a hand picked Cabinet who never oppose him on anything.
We basically have someone now where the only choice with every decision on every passing day is that he's stupid, dishonest, plain couldn't be bothered or corrupt. Pretty much anyone would be better. Maybe Rees-Mogg, Bridgen or Francois wouldn't be but that's the kind of level you'd need to sink to if you were actively trying for worse, and they're the level that would never stand a chance anyway.
Thats a good signThe Nightingale Covid surge Hub at St. George’s in Tooting that went live as recently as Monday 10th, is being “Stood down”.
Got to be reading that as a very encouraging sign at least.
Sister in law (works in the nhs) who we had staying at ours last week got a message to say they were re considering it.Back OT, is the government still going ahead with compulsory vaxing for health staff?
Maybe we should go back to the monarchy running the country instead of this democracy nonsense........born to lead ay they.
Winston Churchill's response to being defeated in the post WW2 GE IIRC?"democracy is the worst form of government – except for all the others that have been tried.”
