mrs jelly is convinced the 2nd doses being administered will slow things down. I'm not expecting that myself.
Looking forward to her being able to have dose 1.

Not at all. There has been a dip early this week but that is down to supply issues that were already known about. Speed started to pick up yesterday again though and supply back to normal next week. Also 4 or 5 weeks down the line we also get the Moderna Vaccine delivered.

We have already shown the capacity to do over 600k in a day and since then the number of centres has increased. So with those types of numbers they are not expecting 1st dose numbers to be overly hit by people having their 2nd

Almost ready to going on helping out now. Just waiting for an I.D badge to be sent out to me and have to do a intro session via MS Teams for the programmes I will be using and then I can start doing my thing.

Mrs Trips had her first dose of vaccine (AZ) yesterday and was struggling last night and today. Headache, shivers and shakes, feeling ill, arm in pain.

I hope you're not the Shipman of Market Drayton.

Got to do my bit to bring it down, for the sake of the rest of Shropshire.

Continuing the roll out by age is eminently sensible - keeps things simple & ensures that the data of 'who next' is there already.

Yes there are groups of workers that might have a valid claim for earlier vaccination, but probably all sections do & how you differentiate & identify them will just slow everything down.

Many in those groups will be picked up within the age bands anyway.

personally think it would be good if we prioritise certain workers but as you say keeping it on an age basis makes the logistics easier, plus its being rolled out so fast as not to make much difference anyway.

Prof van tam just did a really good presentation and muffed it at the end with a comparison to being 3-0 up and taking your foot off the gas. “How often have you seen that team lose 4-3”,

should definately have gone with 2-0, schoolboy error.

Claude Puel does not like this :)

Sounds like my reaction, Trips - give her my best. Just told Mrs Deeley the Wolves Forum is entirely made up of qualified virologists and immunologists...
