1+ is basically 1 except Covid Marshals get a hi vis and enforcement powers for social distancing and masks. As Bristol has 8 Covid marshals this will make all the difference.

Lockdowns do fuck all though other than cripple business, wreck mental health, destroy incomes and annoy people if they're not backed up by anything.

We have nothing backed up. Our Test and Trace is an outsourced farce.

There is no point in us locking down.

Disagree. They get the cases under control and stop the NHS from failing. It also stops needless deaths so that's good enough for me. The only way out is quality test and trace or a vaccine.

You don't have to. Temporary lockdown, get on top of it and keep the NHS ticking over during winter. Vaccine possibly spring but even if not we should have decent track and trace by then.
