Comedians

Ooooh! A heads up for peeps. Michael Winslow is playing the wulfrun in May. I'll be going...

Anyone like Chris Rock? I watched him on Comedy Central last night. Always very very funny IMO.

I've got Roll with the new on cd.

Was the one you saw the show split between 3 venues? (I think new york, london & south africa?) Can't remember the title of it, but that was an awesome set!

I've also got the "Day Today" cd set I keep meaning to get round to relaxing with. Struggle to make the time, which is annoying. Perhaps I'll throw them onto my mp3 player & have some long walks to work whilst chuckling.

Yep that was the one.

Got myself some tickets to see Stewart Francis. Anyone a fan?

Saw him in 2010, & am going again in May.
He's very funny. It is a constant stream of one liners.
When I went, I wondered how he'd do a show of that. Well, he stood there & did it! Very funny.

I'd answer, but I don't quite give a fuck about telling you. Not even if you were hanging off of a cliff. Got a pocket full of 'em, can't even bother to give one fuck.

Going to see Doug Stanhope tomorrow.
Tickets for Michael Winslow have arrived too!:goal:

Doug Stanhope was very funny. Got some good laughs. Quite an interesting guy. Not exactly the all out assault I had been led to believe, but better for it imo.
First time I've ever seen a person ejected from a comedy gig. Some daft pissed bint made an ass of herself twice.
Went down well with the crowd though.

Got april off, then may brings Rich Hall, Dara, Stewart Francis, Paul Merton & Michael Winslow.

Eddie Murphy set the standard with Delirious, Richard Prior at his best was as good as it gets. Chris Rock no not quite.

Saw Dara last night in Derry and he was excellant, usual format interacting with the crowd.

I wouldnt say she was unfunny - she comes out with some good stuff, but id certainly agree that her success is disproportionate.

Why has Sarah Millican become succesful ? She's not funny at all.

I quite like her, she is funny I like the divorce stuff she does.

I like most comedians though!

Don't get Billy Connoly, just don't find him funny.
he is about the only one I struggle with.
Like my humour adult and blue.

Everyone here is in full agreement I believe mate.

Fat ugly geordie who talks about cake every once in a while. Fuck off you unfunny bint.

Aye, basically she's shite.

Most of her jokes are, I'm fat, I like cakes blah blah blah why aye like.

She's alright. Nowhere near the worst female comedian doing the TV rounds. Shappi Khorsandi, Jo Caulfield, Gina Yashere, Andi Osho, etc.
