Comedians

Frankie Boyle lost it imo. I went to his last tour (it was supposed to be his final stand up tour, which he toured 3 times). Yeah, there was stuff I did laugh at, but I'm not convinced I'll clamour to get a ticket this time.

Just bagged two Row A tickets for Frankie Boyle!! First attempt got Row B, thought I would refresh and try and get Row A but then I got a message saying high volume try again later, thought I blown my chances as they kept giving me Row O tickets after that... Paid of in the end after refreshing for 40 times :)

Cheers for the heads up about the pre-sale SSB...

Cheers mate - it's watched.

Going to see Jerry Sadowitz tonight.

Can't wait for the waves of sheer offence!

Anyone going to Stephen Merchant tomorrow night?

I've got high hopes. I think he'll be hilarious.

Was he any good then mate?

I just brought a Dara O'Briain ticket, had to buy it through Ticket Factory for a decent seat tho... £4.56 booking fee

Ha ha thats brilliant if you've seen the height of him!!!!
He was in our shop on Wed as he had a show in Dublin, He is absolutely huge

Merchant was ace. Very funny, and it's easy to see his influence on the comedy writing partnership he has with Gervais.
Mostly self-deprecating style of comedy about his height and awkwardness and trouble finding women. A very funny routine about watching porn on VHS! Very funny. Worth seeing if you can grab a copy of the DVD.

The support act was also good. A guy called Josh Widdicombe. I think I recognise him from Mock the Week et al. His comparison of Argos Extra to a game of Battleships was spot on!

Rhod Gilbert at The Civic on 15th April, tickets on sale Monday...

Ross Noble's 2012 tour goes on sale 9th December.

Does Sarah Millican have to complete a certain number of hours on the TV for community service or something? I don't remember the last time I switched the TV on and she wasn't on it.

Milton Jones was average last night... Didn't meet my expectations what I have seen of him on Mock of the Week.

Don't let it put you off seeing him - saw him at Stafford earlier this year and he was excellent.

Ross Noble - never quite done it 100% for me. Should I go?

Sarah Millican is a godawful example of conedy. An unfunny whinging cow, mentioning cake every once in a while. Can't stand the fucking bint...

My kids are always banging on about Stewart Lee so i watched Vis's Top Gear clip, absolute class, say's it all really especially 'the Hamster', 'ooo gypsy's hee, hee, he'.

Good stuff. I like my comedians to have a bit of edge. People like Michael McIntyre boil my piss - it's awful comedy.

Check out the 'Pear Cider' and 'Joe Pasquale stealing jokes' clips too Trev.

Got my ticket for Rhod Gilbert at the Symphony Hall. Off work that day as well. Should be decent!
