Climate Change Debate

I always treat mini roundabouts as a normal one, pisses off those behind me as most just drive over them.

Depending on your definition we are probably near saturation now. At maximum demand renewables are likely irrelevant or reliant on STOR as a plaster.

In the nine years since our resident expert made this pronouncement we've increased renewable generation 3-fold, with carbon intensity dropping by 75%, while renewable energy prices have dropped by 90%.

I wonder where Nostradamus went?

I read the first 20 or so pages of this thread, he was arrogant wasnt he, fair play to you vis for putting up with him for so long, did he reach some sort of agreement, stop posting or go off in a strop calling us all uneducated?

Given the age profile of most climate change deniers, errr…

I've been down a few YouTube rabbit holes around china and their EV progress. They seem to be bringing some really good progress in battery technology.

From what I've heard china will peak in terms of oil consumption over the next few years and start to decline as their renewables start to have more and more impact.

It might be propaganda, but if not, I feel like we might be on the cusp of some big changes

It was always going to happen.

The world is transitioning, and trillions of dollars will stop flowing to the fossil fuel markets and start flowing to the renewable market.

Nations that got in there early will do very well. That could have been the UK, but subsequent governments were to in thrall to the fossil fuel lobbyists, aided and abetted by useful idiot climate change deniers.

Even climate change deniers need to have an answer for when fossil fuels run out.

Yeah, but climate change is a con created by business to make money innit?
