Chelsea 2-4 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Fun fact: "Malo Gusto" translates from Tagalog to English as "I don't like it".

Appropriate for his relationship with Chelsea fans after today.

Have to be honest, I’m struggling to remember a Coach/Manager who appears to have bonded so well with the players.

Before your time but he has strong Mark Rankine at RB circa 1994 vibes under any kind of pressure. So bad in possession and then almost always compounds it with another error once he's lost the ball.

A mere £40m to find that out, good work Chelsea.

Everywhere seems to have down as Neto and Semedo our only bookings. I could have sworn Gomes got booked too?

Cunha ain't a slouch but he's hardly peak Theo Walcott; the way he just knocked the ball past Gusto for the penalty was properly embarrassing.

Nope. Joao made a foul in the first half, Semedo then kicked it away and got booked.

Tony "for me" Gale was wanging on about it but you're best off just ignoring him.

ESPN report has Semedo and Neto as our only bookings FWIW. Matchday thread had me thinking we'd ended up with 4 or 5 in the book!

I just can't think about him and me walking in a fancy coffee place and them asking if I want Malo Gusto coffee beans instead of the regular ones.

It's a great stat, but it's a "Premier League stat".
The Premier League is nearly 32 years in existence, it's just shorthand for "modern day" really isn't it.

Pretending football was the same in 1985 is way weirder, it makes you Richard Keys.
