Chasing Europe...........

Thing with West Ham is it's a double hit, Germany are our closest challengers as it stands (Italy are top), if they get rid of Freiburg then it should be their collective efforts over.

We have to be winning tomorrow if we're serious about making it.

We have to be winning tomorrow anyway really. Fulham are 3 points behind and on the same GD so winning tomorrow could be the difference in a worst case scenario between finishing 11th or 12th.

We know that each position is worth £1.8M to us which in our position could mean a lot.

West Ham works on 2 fronts, helping the points and also reduces their chances of finishing 8th. I still don't think they matter as English clubs will win all 3 trophies.
It matters from a co-efficient point of view - 2 teams in the final is better than just 1 winning it for example.

Oh we were no realistic chance even before last week.

You aren't finishing out of the top 2 if you win all 3 trophies no matter the hypotheticals

Could do with Forest pulling their finger out and getting a result like Burnley are doing!

Any other season Forest would be rooted in the bottom 3 just got lucky by the fact that Burnley, Sheff Utd are so dreadful

With Cunha hopefully fit for the next league game at least let's hope we make a good fist of it.

Tough CL draw for the English sides. City v Real, Arsenal v Bayern. Winners to play each other

Liverpool vs Atalanta
Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen vs West Ham

If West Ham can beat Leverkusen then that is 5 cl spots in the bag

Leverkusen haven't lost one game all season...

Though Moyes' European record with West Ham is frankly ridiculous.

Also the Italian lead in the 5th spot race could be damaged by Roma v Milan and Atalanta aren’t beating Liverpool.
