Yeah dissapointed he hasn't made the bench, if I was a Button defender I would be dreading trying to mark that lot lol.

That back 3 is poor and Dyer might have some success for them down the left. Douglas could hardly walk in the last 10 minutes on Wednesday so that doesn't surprise me but i do wonder where Hause is. If he's anywhere near fit which he must be then he should be in this squad. Front 3 could be interesting if we can get it to them early.

Hause still hasn't play any football at all. He's clearly back to fitness but it's a lot to throw him back in, whereas bennett actually had a pre-season.

I imagine Douglas we are looking after and not risking, and Hause now has a couple of weeks to be ready for after the international break.

Couple of weeks training won't really help that much - he will need a competitive match of some kind. We don't seem to have been using U23 matches for this, but would think we should make an exception to get him back into match playing mode

I know but he needs to develop more of a base of fitness, Bennett has been training for longer and played more games. So he is better prepared to slot in. A couple more weeks and it will be more of a matter of getting Hause games whereas he still hasn't been in full training for that long.

Excited to see whether Costa can produce what he did last season - unfortunately got hooked early with the red card on Wednesday so hopefully a decent amount of time for him today
