Jimenez not fast enough to make something out of that, Adama passed it this time

Two chances are completely different. On the first chance a simple square pass to Raul and he taps it in to the empty net! Adama in a nutshell, though. Head down and oblivious.

This has been a lovely watch, at least.

Raul just isnt the same player after his injury

It wasn't a bad pass either but it's nowhere near the same thing, one is a guaranteed 1v1 the other is 45 yards from goal.

Yeah I'm watching the game too, and I didn't say it was the same thing?

It's always 'guaranteed' in the imagination of a fan

Yeah on your last point, we've all seen Adama overhit 5 yard passes you'd expect an under 8 to complete so not guaranteed.

He took a chance that probably had an xG of about 0.1 (if you factor in who is shooting it is lower) and a pass to Raul opens up an xG of about 0.7 (I’d wager it’s higher if you factor in its Raul).

He wasn’t oblivious (surely not). He knew he was there he just won’t pass as he’s still trying to prove a point. It’s a team game. Even Mo Salah passes in that situation.

Ronaldo doesn't, but he'd score so it's moot.

Kilman has been excellent up against Cornet.

Overall, though, we’re so slow, ponderous and predictable in possession. So many opportunities to play people in behind and we always turn and pass backwards. No wonder we’re such a low scoring side.

Zero options on the bench to spice things up in the second half either.

If you have been watching the game he has passed it around all game apart from that run

Admittedly not an avid watcher of Burnley but any time I've seen them Charlie Taylor impresses me.
