I was thinking more along the lines of perhaps the N. American vernacular?

You are actually catching on!Must not do the alternative Beaver joke
Even a sensible response receives hilarious emojis! I despair.Fair enough. Both of my sons have - independently of me - condemned Moutinho’s performance yesterday. The one in HK saw the match on TV there & Facetimed today - he & the UK son are unaware of my posts on here. He stated without prompting from me that Moutinho is now not good enough at this level - maybe worth 20 minutes at the end of a game. I must admit to being surprised at the high depth of support for Moutinho on this forum. I hope you are all right & I am wrong about him.
I agree. But fact remains he has been sacked before?Twitter wolves "fans" in meltdown. I've never seen so many idiots calling for Nuno to replaced. Some are even suggesting Eddie Howe and Steve Bruce!
Needs to be an age limit on getting an account. It's shocking.
So has almost every Manager - not sure what that provesI agree. But fact remains he has been sacked before?
And this site is not? I do not get this level of abuse on Twitter? They are even having a go at my name now! Never had that on Twitter. Not to derail such a fascinating thread on our last game (!) but social media has allowed all sorts of misinformation (anti vax, q anon, 5G causing COVID etc etc) to spread really easily, as well as enabling anonymous abuse across continents.
And on the plus side, err - we can find out the wolves team a few seconds quicker?
I just don’t think the positives outweigh the negatives
especially Twitter - it’s a cesspool.
Just that he is in danger as he is failing to deliver. At Watford or Chelsea he would be a goner. I would keep the faith for now. But he needs to evolve. So has almost every Manager - not sure what that proves
At Watford he's be a goner just because the owners are mentalJust that he is in danger as he is failing to deliver. At Watford or Chelsea he would be a goner. I would keep the faith for now. But he needs to evolve.
Kind of agree with this. The success of the previous 2 seasons is being used as a stick rather than being celebrated for the success that they were. What is he failing to deliver though?
We're about where we were at this stage of each of the last two seasons, and I think anyone expecting us to seriously push into the top four at this stage is kidding themselves.
This season is transitional (& compounded by injuries that we (& the individual players)didn't want) - whether we have gone into to this too quickly given the quick turnaround from the last season is another question. What is he failing to deliver though?

I loved Jota but he was a bit unpredictable. Interesting that Liverpool saw his promise which until his injury was very evident. It'd arguably be worse if we'd stuck with the exact same thing, we'd stagnated a bit (there were signs of this towards the end of last season, though there may have been other factors) and he refused to change anything.
I applaud him taking peak value for Doherty and having the guts to change that. Because whatever I thought about him (especially pre-2017), he gave a decent output. Long term that was the right move though.
Jota was always going to go as soon as they bid (and he was always going to know too).
It isn't perfect but there are enough good signs. I think we've played well in parts of all the games since Raul got injured, bar Burnley which was awful, I'll grant you.
& managers still go there! At Watford he's be a goner just because the owners are mental
Doc did by Spurs (or his agent did anyway). Which I don't care about, that's been happening for a long long time.Ive wondered if Jota got tapped up by Liverpool before he actually left
