Any day another game

Brentford have improved significantly since the start of the season & will be awkward opponents. Still don't see them having enough to beat us.

There are almost 3 days between the games, so no more that is usual at this time of the year in the Championship, but possibility of one or two fresh legs in there?

Wouldn't change that much - Bennett will clearly start again, Leo will be back in to start & would be inclined to play Cavaleiro rather than Costa initially.

The rest can stay the same - a number will have a day off in the FA Cup

Predict the same result as Saturday, though hopefully not leaving it quite as late as its not good for the heart

We play Tuesday 2nd. Not Monday.

I thought it was odd that Nuno said Monday as well after the game.

This could well be a very good game, Brentford unbeaten in 11 I think now and are starting to look very decent. Wolves back at home after the euphoria of last night, Jota did look shattered when he came off so I would be tempted to ply Costa and Cav either side of Leo and obviously Bennett back in for Batth.

We get an extra days rest playing on Tuesday evening, whilst every other side in the Top 8 play tomorrow afternoon

Brentford play some excellent stuff and Canos was tremendous against Villa. Their other winger Jozefzoon looked decent too. They are a bit of a soft touch though and regularly give the opposition a chance.

Got my ticket for this, can't wait.

It would be harsh not to start Cavaleiro but I think Nuno may well stick with Helder to give him a little run in the team.

Brentford are on form and will give us a good game but if we play anywhere near our best then we'll win.

Vibe is their form player. 5 goals in his last 6 games.

Quite correct, but I didn't realise that till after I had posted - I am not trusted to change things, but usually get some mistake in my thread titles so am superstitious about always doing so now :)

Think they've been better all season than their position suggests, maybe a bit soft at the back as DW says. Personally I've got to the stage where I don't care who we play or with which personnel, I expect to get a result whatever, obviously we will concede goals/lose games but I'm never nervous about it like I have been for the last.......well forever

They are in good form, but lost 5 games ago to Hull. I think this will be a tough game and maybe a draw. Bennett for Batth irrespective of the appeal and Cav for Costa are the changes I'd make. I'd let the fitness guys decide on whether Jota is running on empty and in danger of being injured or not, if so I'd let Costa keep his place.

Really think this will be a tough match for us.
A mate who flits about the grounds reckons these are the best footballing team in the league (even after seeing us..i know i know)
Theyve also (today) just signed Emiliano Marcondes but not sure if he can play yet.
Seeing as most of the 1st team wont play saturday id have an unchanged team.

Missing this one due to the change in dates. Although will hope to watch from afar.

Very average away record with 4 wins so far and three were at Norwich, Blues and Bolton. We should be alright.

Can't do this one as went to BC on Sat & had already booked the Cup game

Brentford will try to play football so wouldn't expect a Sunderland type match

Decent scoring record, but will leak a bit at the back - there will be opportunities for us

Prefer a draw for Vile, don’t want Mrs Doubtfire getting back in the top six.

Have to say that I think the hardest game we'll have left this season will be away at Middlesbrough. By that time Pulis will have assembled a team of well-drilled post-apocalyptic mutants and we could very possibly have already secured promotion. Couldn't ask for results to be going any better at the moment.

Derby draw at home and Cardiff lose again. Currently, we are 9pts clear of 2nd with Bristol playing later away at Villa and us playing tomorrow.

I've got two free tickets for this going spare in the Steve Bull lower. PM me if you're interested
