Brentford (Home - 2nd Jan) - Build up

Lot of chatter on Twitter about this being our most difficult game of the season.

To be fair, Brentford did start the season really slowly but have since picked up nicely and could well push for a play off spot. Like always, I'm confident that if we get the first goal this evening, we'll go on to win.

Strongest 11 for me (which is Ruddy, Douglas, Boly, Coady, Bennett, Doherty, Neves, Saiss, Jota, Bonatini, Cav) as they can all be rested for the cup game if need be.

I think it'll be a difficult game, but despite me saying earlier it'll be a draw, if we play close to our peak we'll win. Brentford play good football, they'll let us play, if we do our stuff we'll turn them over.

I wouldn't be too bothered if Jota came out for Cav. He was just as poor (if not poorer) than Costa against Bristol.

Brentford are a very good footballing side and they will create chances tonight but they aren't great defensively either, they give away chances themselves and lose a lot of leads. Like any other game in this division if we play as we can then we will win.

Cav should come back in for me and Jota should play, give it everything then he gets over a week off until Barnsley.

Both now gone, one to Machin and one to Sedgley. Looking forward to this game!

Me too! Cheers buddy :)

Our mate Steve Martin is fourth official tonight. Andy Madeley the main man.

Jozefzoon on the bench for them which is a bonus.
