Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

He doesn't like doing the daily press briefings, he made that clear when he had done 2 of them. Lets be honest, they are generally better when he isn't waffling on during them (unless its Priti, then Boris is the better option).
as for PMQ's, guess he doesn't fancy going going to up against KS after 2 days back at work and having to understand the notes left by Raab

Because Boris is a lazy twat who loves the prestige of being prime minister, but hates doing the actual work it entails, that's why

He did fuck all when he was mayor of London - hired a big team of deputy mayors who did the day-to-day stuff, and focused on speeches and cutting ribbons. He's meant to be a pretty absent constituency MP too.

Remember the days when Alex the not so great declared of 1,000,000 to 1 against a no deal Brexit? Michael Gove now has the odds at 2-1 that we will get a deal.

A Trade Deal Brexit has therefore moved from....

Was 1-1,000,000
Now 1-2

Boris is back and now working full time.

Not doing today's presser and may miss PMQ's but it is full time.

Still working full time, still not bothering with the press conference today and no answer on whether he will take PMQ's tomorrow.

If he's not 100%, tell us and I can live with the truth. Just as I didn't want him taking red boxes when he was about to go into intensive care I don't want him over doing things if he still isn't right. Its the bullshit that I can't cope with.

So it's not the fact that he's not there it's that he hasn't given a reason that meets your approval that bothers you ?
Wow if I could be you for just one day :)

Don't be surprised if the next Daily Briefing he does will be the one where he relaxes some of the lockdown. He gets the positive PR from doing stuff like that.

Had to laugh at his "don't get mugged like me" comment though. If we take your handshake comments Boris, you essentially walked up and gave everything away and then smacked yourself in the face for good measure. Maybe your message should have been "dont be a fooking stupid twat like I was"

Any need for that? I think it a legitimate question to ask.

So mine wasn't a legitimate question then ? Ok Ill take out the unnecessary jibe

A meta-lie that.

A stupid brag to make but at the time Kettering hospital had no Covid patients.

He lies all the time.

Why put in the unnecessary jibe in the first place?

What reason has he given? How can I assess if the reason meets my approval if he hasn't given one?

If some brave journalist was to ask that very question they'd be crucified. "He's been in intensive care, leave the man alone!"

Journalists have crucified themselves enough over this crisis and now they're all having a whinge about people not liking them. Boo fucking hoo.

If they weren't such utter cunts looking for a gotcha moment in the first place and trying to bolster thier ego's they wouldn't be perceived as the grandstanding twats they are.

As a profession they're making this set of Tory MP's look good. Piers Morgan is being hailed as the second coming of David Frost by other colleagues in his profession and not the hectoring bully he is. His badgering of the terrible Tory MP this morning was fucking shameful, he had no need to look for the gotcha all the time and it took Susanna Reid to ask the one question which was useful.

So would you care if Journalists were crucified at a press conference? They fucking deserve it.

Well that was a bit angry :icon_lol:

They've been like this for years, the only difference is now it is focused on the Tories so people who hadn't noticed before are noticing now.

I think their only saving grace in all this is, isn't it mutually agreed that we don't blame current governments when there is a global crises. I'm sure I've seen it mentioned before ?

Well that's one of your better arguments Johnny :)

So you think the press have fundamentally changed from how they were, to how they are now over the course of a few weeks?

Or have they always been like this?

Which is more logical?

Only that isn't what you said was it?

Absolutely nothing like the point above. Your particular whine was about the Tories only being challenged now. That's rubbish.

I don't think the press have changed at all. Still the same shite peddled day after day with no journalism worthy of the name.

Today's press conference had several gotcha questions from some of the grandstanding wankers.

I think you can (or should might be more apt) give credit to governments during a crisis if they act well - though I think the more normal form is to pretend they didn’t prevent the whole country from being fucked and blame them anyway.
