Piers Morgan is being hailed as the second coming of David Frost by other colleagues in his profession and not the hectoring bully he is. I think you can (or should might be more apt) give credit to governments during a crisis if they act well - though I think the more normal form is to pretend they didn’t prevent the whole country from being fucked and blame them anyway.
