Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

I thought that I'd be joyous today now that he is finally on his way out. Instead I'm still feeling angry at the damage that arsehole has done to our Country, our democracy and our futures.
I’m just reminding myself that for reasons I don’t think I will ever fully understand he appealed to a certain part of the electorate like no other Tory. Hopefully that will see them lose the votes of many people who if they had more than half a brain would never vote Tory.

James Not So Cleverly the Education Sec.

Poor kids.

I'm just amazed your politicians actually resigned over something.

I'd like to think that at least some of them resigned because of integrity and a will to do the right thing, but unfortunately it's more likely because they're all shitting themselves because they think he's taking them down with him.

You can't have integrity and serve under Boris Johnson, the two things are mutually exclusive. You can't exactly claim "I didn't know that's what he was like" and to a man/woman they declared confidence in him within the last month.

I think Quince is the only one as he really did get thrown under the bus.

Understandable he went because his boss shafted him in public.

Their resignations were purely for personal gain rather than for any sense of moral duty.
Oh, almost certainly. But at least their positions are vacated? Mayhap leaves a small amount of room for hope of "better" people taking their places (for as much as you can have "better" politicians in neoliberal capitalism).

There aren't any. Johnson and Cummings purged the party of anyone who disagreed with them on their vandal's Brexit in 2019.

Has Boris actually resigned yet?
Isn't he meant to visit the Queen and she has to accept?

Nope, the fucker is clinging on Putin style.

He's not even resigned from the leader of the conservative party, just acknowledged they are replacing him as leader.

Hopefully he's removed tonight in some way.

What I'm hearing is that now is the right time to take back the means of production.

Seems fair enough, no one would want the disruption of resigning just before they get married.......

She’ll be off soon, now the grace and favour houses, free trips abroad, lavish lifestyle are stopping

Well I'm hoping the likes of Patel, JRM, Truss etc are history as far as cabinet posts are concerned.
