That just can't happen. He's toxic to his party and they can't leave him there

Most of the MP's have said it can't happen.
 
Michelle Donelan has earned nearly £17k for being appointed as Education Secretary for one day as she is entitled to 25% of the yearly ministerial salary as a severance pay when she leaves the role.

Theoretically he can as it is the Queen who appoints the Prime Minister - if he could demonstrate that he was able to command the support of the majority of Parliament (effectively this means the support of his loyal Tories, and opposition MPs) then he could be PM but not leader of his party.

Realistically, no.

Won't make a difference, it won't be binding on Johnson (which would win) but would be on the government (which wouldn't win, as would result in a GE).
 
He isn’t even reappointing those who resigned this morning. Unless this is on a possible caretakers whim, it shouldn’t be allowed.

Who'd have thought that someone with a 20+ year record of continually lying with an absolute disaster zone of a personal life would be an awful Prime Minister, and that a Government cleansed of anyone with any talent or integrity in 2019 would be completely unfit for purpose.
