Turns out he was wrong as the section of law he was referring to was repealed by Chris Grayling as Transport Sec in 2018. So those burning money to go for a tribunal will lose.

I said a similar thing about North Shropshire and look where we are, no dodgy Tory in place.


They will win it back though as it looks like a bloke who used to be a Tory Councillor in the area will be standing next time. Ex Forces, so that gets votes here, the farmers support him, another win and now runs one of the pubs in MD.

I had a drunken chat with him before the last election, no clue what I said to him but I remember him walking off without a goodbye. A true Tory...(or I properly insulted him)

So it appears that 2 out of every 3 pounds the chancellor "gave away" yesterday will go to high earners.
Nothing for the severely ill, the disabled, or the very lowest paid. There's a risk of creating a new entrenched underclass here.
Sunak doing the media rounds this morning, but he doesn't come across well at all. He isn't statesmanlike in any way, and i don't know if it is my impression, but he also seems rude towards female journalists?
