Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Fun fact: when he was Foreign Secretary he wasn't granted the normal full security clearance you would get in that office due to his many and varied iffy links.
In the Cold War era he would have been classed as a Soviet 'asset'. He's definitely been an asset to Putin, that's for fucking sure.

Proper car crash interview on that mess of a BBC one show this morning. A mixture of outright lies, nonsense, not answering questions and gaslighting.

Martin Lewis unimpressed, Jane Moore behaving like the cunt she is on the national broadcaster parroting ‘money tree’ nonsense when she’s got the economic understanding of a coffee machine.
The most striking moment of the show was when Lewis mentioned spending the last 20 odd years (?) telling people how to save money on bills etc etc. He then stated that there were no more savings to be made. People were no longer telling him that they were stopping having take aways or coffees to save money they were choosing between heating and eating. The scary thing is that the energy prices rises are only just starting.

Thankfully, Rishi Sunak says that he “gets it” so I guess that him telling everyone that he’ll be riding to the rescue of all those in need……

And on the night of the invasion of Ukraine he was toadying up to Putin linked Russian Tory Party donors... that in itself should be a sackable offence. Not to mention the various links to Russians that have had to be investigated for national security reasons, which should also lead to him being investigated for treason.
Down with this nonsense. There’s nothing to be seen here as there couldn’t possibly be any link to a man in a former(?) communist state, who just happened to be a finance minister, who somehow acquired £billions in wealth, rocked up in London, denounced his former employers, gained British citizenship, whose wife then chose to spend the wealth on funding a political party to the tune of £100s of thousands by playing tennis matches with the then current and a future prime minister.
Dave said that they didn’t discuss Russian affairs at the said tennis game so all is good.

I'd have liked Lewis to have interviewed both politicians today.

Reeves was far too lightweight on her knowledge of the economy and Sunak would've actually had to give proper numbers rather than the bullshit he trolled out.

javid doing the rounds today suggesting boris didn't link/compare ukraine and brexit.
ridiculous that anyone with ears knows otherwise and they have the temerity to persist with blatant lies.

Sunak did the same yesterday.

Full damage control, gas on high.

Johnson is apparently desperate to visit Ukraine. I suggest Mariupol.

“Well, I think the Prime Minister is desperate to go to Ukraine and has throughout this
conflict felt a real - as the British people have done - a real
emotional connection with the suffering of the Ukrainian people and a
need for the West to unite in standing up to this threat from Russia
which has been exposed to Ukraine.

He continued: “And actually, for example, with the bazookas that are currently being fired in Ukraine, people are saying ‘God Save the Queen’, because they know that it was the British that were leading that effort.”

Asked what the point of going in person would be, Dowden said: “Well I
think it’s both to see what’s going on on the ground - because it’s very
different talking to somebody on the phone versus actually seeing it
in practice, and by the way, I should say that no decisions have been
taken in relation to this - but then secondly, it’s actually to
experience what is happening there, to see what is happening.

This bonkers trip to Ukraine is worse than the bridge to Northern Ireland. It should take 5 seconds for Security Advisers to veto it. The twat will want to go in his favourite plane and I’m not sure that flying something covered in Union Jacks over the Russian troops dotted around the country would end well.

Putin would give the order in seconds to bring it down and claim a false flag incident.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a good idea?

he now thinks P&O acted illegally.
So he is going to advise those affected to "enforce their rights under the ERA 1996".
Oh goody, as the employment tribunal system which has been decimated since 2010 is well set up to manage that caseload then. Kinda like the NHS is well set up to cope with a pandemic...

Basically telling the RMT to take action, he's extremely late to the party with that gem and I can see large parts of the country being brought to a standstill very soon.
We're expecting to be balloted for industrial action in the very near future so things will only get worse and we're probably the most militant of the Unions left standing
