We can afford to write off £4.3billion worth of fraud, but we can't afford to keep giving the very poorest members of society £20 a week to feed themselves, and we also repeatedly don't want to ensure the poorest children in society are well fed.

Agreed, I was an actual Thatcher hater (not a word I use often) but I've grown up a bit since and can understand where her and the voters were coming from. This lot seem to have no redeeming features. I didn't vote in the last election, even then the Tories seemed horrible, Labour also had lost their way imo and I still have/had trust issues with Liberal. I've got to the stage where I will vote for anyone to get this lot out and I really dislike tactical voting......sad days in British politics.

Yes I agree. the consequences of the callous way she destroyed working class communities is still very much with us today and will take generations to sort out, if ever. Brexit wouldn't have happened without the disenfranchisement these communities felt as a result of what she did.

This lot have no principals and will do anything to stay in power, saying what people want to hear to satisfy their naked ambition.
