You would expect competent parties have plans to try and unfuck things.

This bunch hide behind the shittest slogans in memory and have no concrete policies whatsoever.
 
So gas prices are going insane and consumers could be looking at two grand higher bills.

In this scenario does the government -

a) mitigate the rise by using stockpiled gas reserves to assist with supply, and give aid to the energy suppliers to prevent excess costs being passed to users.

b) shut down stockpiles from the biggest provider as they are uneconomic compared to just in time supply, so exposing the whole market to massive price rises, while letting small providers go belly up, and then propose a levy on the consumer on top of their increased bill.

This bunch of cunts have picked b.

I'm totally ignorant here but I can't help be a little suspicious about such an arrangement.

It's a bit weird that Goldsmiths brother was wed to one of his wives sisters and got divorced the year before Goldsmith got married.

I wondered who the Government would send out this morning to defend the indefensible and that honour has been given to Stephen Barclay.
