Birmingham (H) build up

Walk down Marylebone Road to Baker Street. Opposite Baker Street tube on the Marylebone Road is a big pub called (I think) the Globe. Supposed to be decent for watching sports. Its about 15 mins walk from Marylebone, tops.
Are you 100% that is still there?...

Thank you, sir!

EDIT: balls.

That's a shitter. From my recollections there isn't a lot else pub wise around Marylebone station, until you get over towards Edgware Road tube, and then you might as well try the drinking holes round Paddington Station as you are virtually on top of the place. Sure there would be something on Praed Street, for instance.

The club have now officially asked fans not go on the pitch.

Our fans are already kicking off at each other on FB over the pitch invasion. People posting pleas to respect the players and Nuno by staying off the pitch are being told to fuck themselves. 'We ay gunna listen to yow'

God, we really do have some fucking morons for fans.

The stadium is going to be teeming with OB. And I am sure they will be gagging to arrest pitch invaders. It's a fucking dense idea.

It's gonna happen regardless. Because of the need to give the big 'un to the opposition fans, and because people won't use common sense and realise that the players will scarper down the tunnel, spoiling the actual celebration.

I consider closed on Sundays to be a CONSIDERABLE step forward from demolished and turned into student housing...

It's a fucking good job that I know you and therefore decided to check in advance, isn't it???

Just to selfishly bump back to my original post, if anyone knows of a ticket going unused, please drop me a PM. I'd be incredibly grateful [emoji4]

The atmosphere at home to Blues last season was vile - the worst I've known in years. Hate filled, antagonistic, I hated it (we were shit as well). It didn't feel much better outside the ground. I cannot see how they'll stop fans going on the pitch if we've won and the full time whistle goes, and if/when that happens, the idiots WILL act like cunts and go straight towards the away fans.

And can you imagine what will happen to the likes of David Davis, who got a disgraceful amount of abuse thrown at him last season? It wouldn't be dissimilar to Aguero at Wigan.

I don't want our celebration marred by scenes like that. The media have been quick to jump on anything negative surrounding Wolves this season (and if there isn't any, they've made some up). I want the back pages to show our players, staff and fans celebrating our achievements. Not some cuntshovels attacking Blues players or throwing stuff at opposing fans etc.

I don't have enough faith in a minority of our fan base to feel confident that won't happen.

That is up the with the Death Metal pub you and Wombat dragged me across London to visit before the QPR game...and it was closed.
Paddys Pub guide still going strong

Ooh is there? Thanks for that. I don't care if it's got less character than Alan Curbishley, I just want somewhere to watch the game!

Yep. Sports Bar and Grill in Melcombe Place looks about your best bet.

Quite happy that I can't be there for this one. Would be happy to see a draw in the Fulham/Brentford game so that we are promoted before we step on the pitch

Not sure that that would stop any idiots trying to rush on & face up the B'ham fans though
