Really missing travel today. Facebook reminded me that this time last year I was in Berlin on my stag. What a fooking epic weekend that was... :yikes:

We were supposed to fly to Tenerife yesterday. We were tempted to re-book until Sep but I think that is a bit optimistic at this stage.

Can't see us getting away again this year.

Without wishing to take this down a different path. I read yesterday that EU countries - although this was specifically about Italy, are likely to allow travel from other EU countries before the rest of the World. So you are likely to be able to go before we are.

I had a Spain holiday booked for September, 8 of us going away for my nieces Hen Do. Looks like that will be cancelled, also her wedding.

Was so looking forward to both.

Aren't we technically out of the EU though now? I appreciate nothing has changed until the year is up, but for these purposes I'd have thought we aren't included.

Until Dec 31st we are classed as in. Its just we are not going to be involved in the discussions as things will be discussed that may happen after we officialy leave.

I've a holiday to Spain booked for the end of September. I've flights booked to Oz in December too.

Really beautiful, had a great time there. Recommendation? Take an umbrella as it loves a bit of rain!

I would avoid tbh. A lot of the residents of Porto don't half seem keen to get out of there and live in Wolverhampton...

Porto is lovely. Book yourself in for a Port cellar tour (I did Sandeman). Seeing shanty towns in a major city in Europe was a bit of a shock though...

Did a few craft beer bars I can recommend if you do chose to go. Hopefully you'd have a better time without the rain and Standard Liège fans.

That would be splendid - won't be until next summer now, though! But I'll check back if we do book a trip there.

Anyone been to Portmeirion? Thinking of a day trip or maybe overnight but the hotel is a hefty price. Never looked at it before, looks really unique. But maybe something that you only need an hour at?
