Life according to Jake v reality. He’s so patronising a real “look at me type”
Always suspicious of people he feel the need to tell the world how great things work for them.

I just got myself a sausage and egg McMuffin meal and treated myself to an extra hash brown. So you have to ask yourself, who’s the real winner here?
Depends whether you die of a heart attack in the next 24 hours I suppose...

To borrow from Jake's own vernacular, I'm just pleased I got on at the ground floor regarding him.

The purest of pure drivel.

Half-remembered, contradictory, misty-eyed, at times completely inaccurate, pointless nonsense mostly about a bloke who more or less finished playing 35 years ago, delivered by a crass, borderline illiterate buffoon.

Not a single word about England beating Italy away from home because he doesn't like Gareth Southgate.

He clearly can't even be arsed to read it after he's finished typing before he hits submit. So many typos and grammatical errors before you even get into the terrible opinions and waffling incoherence!

The bit that gets me is that there is a grain of value in there, but he buries it under so much pretentious self-aggrandizement that I feel genuinely less energized by the time I’ve got to the end.

And fuck off with the company talk. Tells me exactly what he really values.

Roy Keane = thug....don't you dare compare him to Souness.

Oh here are 3 or 4 occasions where Souness set out to injure a player and succeed. He was ace wasn't he...

"Let's talk about my friend Graeme Souness, who was slow and kicked opponents".

Thanks for that glowing reference Richard.

I am also pretty sure that "Leeds' Terry Yorath" (not playing for Leeds) did not applaud a tackle which injured him.

What you have to remember as a starting point with Dickie is that everything was better 30-40 years ago. And nothing in football now is new, it was all being done back then but without all the fancy pants names.

He's talking absolute shit, the fitness levels now compared to just 15 years ago are massively different. Any 70s/80s player magically transported into a Premier League game in 2023 would be lucky to last to half time, they'd either be sent off or completely gassed.
