Bellend commentators

So Champions League wins presumably don’t count? Or league titles?

Neville talks a load of cock but is perfectly well qualified to talk such cock. This of course doesn’t get into the bullshit that you need to have played the game to be a commentator or pundit. THAT is the absolute horseshite out there, and every season more ex pros delight in proving the point with their banal cliched airtime filled that is all words that says nothing.

If this is true Cafu has made himself look a bit of a tit here. So many holes in one comment,
Neville is payed to pass opinions not lies, by Cafu standards then all pundits are redundant for top games bar a few.
Never won anything big, 16 major trophies including 2CL and 8PL titles in that.
Same old crap “you’ve never played the game” BS ex-pros come out with, whilst working on a public phone in.
His little anglophobic dig at the end makes him look ridiculous.

Putting Ronaldinho with Zidane, Pele and Platini is very Oxford, Cambridge and Hull

He missed a hatful of chances and a first half penalty but despite this assessment Haaland gets in to the team of the week of which comical pundit?

Nearly all of the current matchday commentators are poor. Actually I think they are shite.
They All feel they have to say what it actually happening on the pitch, Well, thanks but I can see that for myself, They are all scared to death of being critical.
During the Carabao match last night (Doncaster V Everton) a winger called Molyneux played 2 balls into the box, The 1st came to nothing and the 2nd was just rubbish, played straight into 3 defenders one of which cleared it emphatically.
The commentator said, "And that's Molyneux with his 2nd attempt which is cleared".
It would have been refreshing to hear her say, "That was a careless pass/inaccurate/underhit/poor..." anything but 'it is cleared...'
I can see it was cleared, why are you telling me?
I get there's a difference between radio commentary and tv commentary. But they really need to shut up, they have to stop feeling the need to fill every silent moment with verbiage.
And those fuckers who provide 'colour' commentary all need to be let go. Stating the bleeding obvious, referring to their notebooks full of worn out cliches, adding nothing but more chat, which adds absolutely nothing,
If I hadn't wanted to hear a bit of crowd atmosphere, I'd have turned sound off, then I'd have turned the game off.

I get he's an adult, but at what point do Le Tissier's family step in and get him help? Fall for one conspiracy theory and you find a whole world of idiocy which he seems to swallow one by one. I don't find it funny, I think it's very sad

Steve Bower saying Shearer's last England game was against Ukraine, it wasn't as he played in all our games at Euro 2000. Last home game.

Jamie O'Hara spouting drivel about Evan Ferguson switching to play for England (has an English mother), whilst completely ignoring that Ferguson's 6 caps (3 competitive) makes it impossible under FIFA rules even if he wanted to.

Romania and Phil Neville 89th minute brain fart in 2000 was his last game

Barry Glendenning said that it was no more than 3 competitive games? Is that not the case?

Not that I think he will change, but I thought he still could

He can still change new FIFA rules allow a player to play 3 competitive matches at senior level before changing. I very much doubt he will.

Yes, he can still change if he wants, they changed the rules this year. Unlike Rice and Grealish he's a genuine Irish lad though so can't see it

Rule was bought to stop countries chucking players on for a couple of minutes in a qualifier and then tying them down permanently.

Stand corrected then, article I read said that it had recently been changed, that now there is no differential between friendlies & competive games so after 3 ineligible, mind could be wrong.
Anyway O'Hara still a cunt either way.
