I didn't know that either! Lovely news. Met your sister about 18 months ago - she came with us for the Movember fancy dress party in Brum dressed as Maggie Thatcher (with a stick on mo, obvs).

It's the online community and background they give for each brewery/beer that makes it worth the £3 per bottle for me. Seems like a better presented model then just the 'random beer each week' vibe that you posted before.

Someone bought me a gift subscription for Beer52 as well, and must admit descriptions and background would be good. Worth noting though that I was going to cancel so the website immediately offered to drop the next month cost top £14.00 for 10 bottles and I still had the option of 2 additional bottles for free anyway (£5.00 per month thereafter) so I get 12 bottles for £14.00 next delivery. Going on the Severn Valley with my folks on Sunday and we're going to try a 'specialist real ale pub' in Bewdley that opened late last year. Not been before, Bewdley is one of the stations we never stop off at for liquid refreshments so if it's any good, it'll be a welcome addition.
