Aston Villa (H) build up 14/10

Yeah, he's talking out his arse. £25 for Villa I think.

I've seen a lot of Villa on line moaning about the allocation we've given them though. Absolutely bizarre. Why would we want to give Villa 4500 when we could sell the extra seats in the quadrant to Wolves fans?

We did give it to them last season, but we were shit then. We are good now. This isn't complicated stuff.

Let's see how many they give us at Villa Park, they can hand us 10% of their capacity (which is more or less what we've given them) if they like. Doubt they will.

Exactly.

Loads of them have bought tickets in the home end apparently. Should end well.

I thought away fans were been housed in the quadrant from now on.

Where practical. So the likes of Barnsley who don't bring many, fine. PNE might well be in there next week.

Only teams that are expected to bring less than 1500 I think.

Villa, Blues, Derby etc will get the lower Bully.

Oh okay.

Do we have to give a certain allocation then?

More bollocks I reckon, you need a purchase history to get one for this game.

To buy tickets for this fixture you must have made a previous ticket purchase.Visiting Supporters located in Steve Bull Lower

Unless they have a ton of fans who had a secret hankering to re-watch Lambo's football then I doubt it.

It's teams that bring less than 1900. Any more and they have to go in the SB Lower.

Just convention really, don't think there's anything set in stone but it wouldn't play well to give clubs with big travelling supports tiny allocations. 2,900 (or whatever it is you get in the SB Lower, can't remember now) is a fair proportion of our capacity and suits the police's demands as well, so no problem. The likes of Barnsley, Millwall, Burton, Reading etc don't even want that many tickets so then we can cut the number of seats we allow them.

Villa can fuck off, before last season the SB Lower was the maximum we gave any team in any league fixture for decades. We did them a one off favour because it suited us, doesn't mean we're obliged to do it forever.

How Many fit in the steve bull lower these days

Seems reasonable, if you want a low allocation your fans will get a better view and better facilities, want a higher one we will accommodate it, but it's a bit shit.

Well if the minimum allowed is 2k and Quad only holds 1900 then we are obliged to give them the 2700 as we have no alternative. Not that this is too much of an issue at the moment because it's not as if We are having to turn away wolves fans as we have sold out.

Er, no. Not even close.

It's £25/£30 in the Steve Bull Lower depending on Category A/B (which I'm not sure has even come into play this season yet).

If he's paying £42 then someone is ripping him off and he isn't buying directly from Villa.

Funnily enough this ive also heard about Cat A/B matches too and so i looked online.

Sadly, it looks like we have adopted this utter fucking bollocks too...what a joke, Who the hell knows if a match is going to be good or not?
PLUS i come to see MY team not the fucking opposition...
Rant over ....its just i hate this Category bullshit.

Edit..Its even more absurd when you see it just effects Adults in Steve Bull Stand!!!!!!

So it's being done to shaft away fans then and in doing so stiffs some of our own. At least the clubs in PL have put an end to this bollocks with the £30 maximum away ticket initiative.

Yeah pretty sure category's have only ever been in Place to rinse away fans. The teams who bring low allocations are B and the large allocation is A. Was the same in the PL. The away teams are going to sell out reagrdless of the price so may as well make some extra cash. Although not sure it's worth it for 15k

Just checked. We're charging Villa £30 (though we do offer seniors, U21 and U17 tickets at £15, and U12s at £10) and the allocation is 2,687.

I don't think any of that is unreasonable and FL rules presumably prevent us from offering seats in the same stand (albeit in a different tier) at £25. It's a bit shit but not abnormal and it's not a huge hike either. We had Categories when we were in the PL, 100% so it isn't even especially new. Watching us play United cost more than watching us play Blackpool. And in fairness the club have done very well this season with offers to matchday only fans, something they should have been doing a decade or more ago. We still have work to do but they are trying.

Boro sold out, I wouldn't know if they were Category A as well.

Didn't visiting supporters used to get 3,000 tickets? I wonder why the allocation has been reduced.
