Bit late, but a couple of weeks back I paid for another 12 months hosting, paid for by ads. Those of you who visit the site while not logged in will see them. Logged in users do not.
But thats the sacrifice for free hosting. There was a small surplus. Since we moved to cloud hosting I setup a specif account for receiving ad revenue and to pay out hosting fees. Its currently about 300 quid in surplus. No intention to do anything with that, as a hedge against changes in circumstances in future, such as changes in ad revenue.
Although I reckon in about 600 years we can buy the club and run it as a fan collective. Day one, sack the digitised brain-on-a-jar of Jeff Shi.
