2015 Cricket World Cup Australia/ New Zealand

Looks like we may be letting a promising position slip away.

With Root getting smacked and Bopara dropped we don't have anyone who can fiddle a few overs. I think this will cost us during the tournament if not today as if one of the main 5 take a clattering we have no other options. You could see the Aussies getting stuck into Woakes or Finn when they come back and we'll have to keep them on or only take them out of the attack for a couple of overs.

Dropping finch in the first over looks like it may cost us the game.

Game on again 228-5 and two new batsmen if we can restrict them to 280 here we'll have a real chance on this pitch.

I think England's work in the field has been sloppy today 2 run outs not taken and three catches missed, why Ballance didn't try and dive for his catch is beyond me.

England need 343 to win, don't even bother watching the reply if England lose by less than a 100 runs is be surprised.
Some great batting in all fairness but some brain dead bowling from England in the last 10 overs.
Why do we persist with short balls at the death? We seem scared of the Yorker or fuller deliveries. Who on earth is coaching them this.
Morgans bowling changes and field positions at times were mind boggling, taking broad of after only one over after picking up 2 wickets and replacing him with woakes .

Seems like picking ballance had been a bit of an alround disaster. Good player, but really don't get chucking him in with no practise and changing a settled team which had been doing OK

England 66 for 4 and Captain Marvel is at the crease

Finch took the game away from England, and bowling that had been disciplined got ragged as the fielding became poor.

The best thing that Taylor and Buttler can do is just try to stay in and score runs to boost their confidence.

Aussies taking the piss and letting Smith throw down a few pies

Might as well use that to put a slight veneer of respectability on a thrashing.

Superb from James Taylor. Starc is a genuine fast bowler, and he hit back over his head for six.

Woakes gone, but he did well. He scored a quick 37, the problem is what happened beforehand.

Broad in, now if this was a test match, Johnson would pepper him with short stuff. He can't do that today, but I expect him to let Broad have the odd delivery around his chin.

We lost this when we decided to bowl with absolutely zero common sense, no way we were ever chasing down that. At least one batsman has got a few runs
