Tangent from the Vitor thread and I mentioned how crazy it was that we kept O'Neil after Everton away given how awful we were.

So what would be your top 10 in each bracket? My first draft:

Best

1) Wolves 3-1 Arsenal (2019, Nuno)
2) Wolves 3-2 Man City (2019, Nuno)
3) Tottenham 2-3 Wolves (2020, Nuno)
4) Chelsea 2-4 Wolves (2024, O'Neil)
5) Liverpool 0-1 Wolves (2010, McCarthy)
6) Man Utd 0-1 Wolves (2022, Lage)
7) Wolves 4-0 Blackpool (2011, McCarthy)
8) Wolves 1-0 Man Utd (2004, Jones)
9) Wolves 2-1 Tottenham (2023, O'Neil)
10) Man City 0-2 Wolves (2019, Nuno)

Worst

1) Brighton 6-0 Wolves (2023, Lopetegui)
2) Fulham 5-0 Wolves (2012, Connor)
3) Wolves 1-5 West Brom (2012, McCarthy)
4) Everton 4-0 Wolves (2024, O'Neil)
5) Wigan 2-0 Wolves (2010, McCarthy)
6) Wolves 0-4 Charlton (2003, Jones)
7) Wolves 0-4 Aston Villa (2004, Jones)
8) Huddersfield 1-0 Wolves (2019, Nuno)
9) Brentford 5-3 Wolves (2024, O'Neil)
10) Wolves 0-3 Brighton (2022, Lage)

I’m crap at remembering games and dates etc, but was it 2018 we played at home to Liverpool and lost but were brilliant?

Nah, Jan 2020 when we lost 2-1. Was such a superb game, both sides were fantastic.

Dec 2018 we lost 2-0 and they had us at arm's length, we gave it a good go but were never really in it.

Can't remember if it was the league or an FA Cup game but we tried to out-Stoke, Stoke and it was bloody awful.

Take your pick with games against them but we drew 0-0 with them on my 29th birthday in April 2010. Happy birthday Dan!

And it's still not the worst Stoke vs Wolves 0-0 I've ever seen.

We lost 3-0 at their place in April 2011 and we were shocking. Looked like we were doomed that night.

Anything before Covid feels like a lifetime ago. Loved that game - thought we were going to kick on and on.

I've included Spurs away from literally a couple of weeks before Covid broke the world.

My word we were special that day. Raul's goal that day IS Nuno's Wolves.

GON gets off way too lightly at net zero on this list! The thumping away at Everton deserves a mention given they failed to score for a geological period on each side. A niche choice from a massive back catalogue of jaw dropping cobblers might be not a defeat - the draw at home to Forest in Dec 23 was barely watchable. Ipswich at home not two months ago too - absolute comedy. As I’m putting the boot in I’d chuck out his win against Spurs too (Sarabia’s win, not his) and select that Liverpool defeat - we were so much better in the latter.

Mate, I've only got ONE Lage game in the shitlist! You must know what that does to me.

Blimey - he’s net zero too!
I've got to give him the Old Trafford game. We were genuinely superb. He actually got it spot on tactically.

He's lucky we've had so much other guff as I could give him a 10 game shitlist all of his own and have enough change to buy everyone on here a pint.

I thought we were also brilliant in the home game against them and somehow managed to lose. Possibly Traore’s best all round performance that day (alongside city away I guess).

From 6 games into that season until Covid that was the peak. So many good performances.

We had some good hard fought wins under Mick in the PL. the win over Utd is up there for me- last time bottom of the league beat top of the league in the PL I think?

One of Mourinho's first games for them I think. And in its own way, a classic of his genre, just getting a win from nowhere.

A tight call for the hitlist was Nuno's 2-1 win over Chelsea in 2018. If we'd lost that we were in trouble (in some fairly horrible form and slipping towards the bottom three), we were 1-0 down early doors and then provided a superb turnaround. Plus THAT Benno challenge on Willian.

Yeah. What was it that happened with Vertonghen that allowed him to score the winner?

They all literally took it in turns getting booked for fouling Adama too
