Leicester (A) 22/12: Build Up & Match Thread

This is what I'd do I think given everything is a fudge one way or another. Not that I'm particularly happy with it.

Need to see him try IMO. He apparently did it well in Brazil; obviously no guarantee but itā€™s experience and he clearly reads the game well.
 
Cunha is playing Sunday as it stands as we've not heard back from FA

Sounds like short term gain for long term pain. Either not charging him at all or preparing to throw the book at him, my guess is more likely the latter

FA Christmas Party and 2 weeks off, they will pick it up in the New Year
 
The wording of Vitors presser suggests to me Cunha is available but he's not sure whether to start him, maybe some form of in club punishment? Or am I completely misinterpreting it?

Far be it from me to suggest our leadership aren't capable of self sabotage, but internally suspending your best player for the most important game of the season may be a stage too far for even them.

I got the impression that he slightly misinterpreted the question and just didn't want to commit to who he'd be playing. Although he'll obviously pick our best player if fit!

I agree, maybe it's his vocabulary but it sounded to me like he hadn't decided whether to play him, hopefully he's just waiting to hear from the FA.

It sounded to me that he had slightly misunderstood the question (will he be available to play?) and thought that he was being asked about Cunha's fitness and that's why he didn't commit to any particular answer - The first part of his answer he seemed to not be wanting to get involved in a discussion about selection issues, he then moved on to say "I'm not sure ... if he is in conditions he can play ...", which sounded like him thinking he'd been asked about fitness.
 
Sounds like your standard ā€œkeep ā€˜em guessingā€ PR claptrap to me.

If Matheus is available heā€™ll surely play.
