Not sure what the answer is, or if there even is one, but we need to be able to defend better while still being able to create goals. That midfield 5 would not achieve that.

Your probably right, just struggling to come up with a system that stops us leaking goals.
We probably won't have our 'out' card so maybe we just need to stay in it and hope to grab a goal from somewhere. Problem is Pereira will have hardly any time to sort them out.

Yeah I was trying to work out a way to play 3 atb but couldn't come up with anything bar one of Semedo or Doc at RCB which makes me shudder. Perhaps Ricardo could play WB or maybe even chuck Lima in, means Semedo playing on the left.

I'd play Johnstone over Sa, at least you are starting with someone who is level headed if not good enough. I wouldn't blame him for any of the 4 goals he's conceded since coming back in. He has a stiffness about him which doesn't look great on West Hams first or Ipswichs second, but I don't think many keepers save either.

I dont agree with this formation, but I welcome you putting your head above the parapet. Lots of people have said who they wouldn't play, but I'm lost to who they think we're putting on the pitch unless Del Wop is making his debut?
